It cannot make an unaudited contract safe, guarantee future execution, or assess every social-engineering risk. The correct interpretation is “useful evidence before signing,” not “proof of safety.”

If portfolio tools become more useful, the most important improvement may be richer risk representation rather than more precise price estimates. Users need to see debt, withdrawal constraints, protocol dependencies, approval scope, and confidence in valuations alongside headline balances. Conditional risk labels could be more informative than a single portfolio score, provided their assumptions are visible and adjustable.
A plausible near-term direction is greater separation between accounting and security. One system may track economic exposure while another reviews transaction effects and permissions. That separation can improve resilience because it reduces the temptation to treat one polished interface as an all-purpose authority. The open question is how consistently tools will interpret complex positions across chains and changing protocol designs. Until that improves, human review remains part of the process.
